PRESS RELEASE: McKenzie Intelligence Services And Eagleview Collaborate To Deliver Best-In-Class Intelligence And Imagery For North American Catastrophes

This exciting development brings together market leaders in observed damage assessments and aerial image collection.

MIS and Eagleview announce that they have agreed to a new alliance to enhance the insurance industry response to catastrophic events across North America.

Combining the speed and accuracy of MIS’s military-grade intelligence analysis with the high-resolution outputs of Eagleview’s pre- and post-CAT event aerial imagery ensures that clients of both organisations can realise the significant benefits through this collaboration.

MIS clients will be able to explore Eagleview’s vast library of pre- and post-event aerial imagery within the GEO platform, as well as any future captures. This offers wider US event coverage of perils such as hurricanes, tornadoes, flooding and wildfires, enabling the MIS team to deliver their post-event assessments faster and with deeper insights than ever before.

Eagleview clients will immediately gain access the GEO platform and its historical archive of over 200 global events, where they can securely host their portfolio data and enhance imagery with verified exposure, claims and building-level analysis from the MIS team. These decision-ready outputs will support Eagleview clients in making calls on claims in a matter of days following an event.

MIS will provide CIERA members with detailed, one-stop verified data following major events. This will enhance their ability to respond efficiently, improving service to policyholders. MIS will also offer additional verified data on road closures, power outages, emergency declarations, and more.

Forbes McKenzie, Founder and CEO of MIS, said: We could not be more delighted to be collaborating with Eagleview. This transformative partnership further establishes GEO as the go-to disaster response platform for carriers and matches the best intelligence on the market with the best aerial imagery on the market. Ultimately, this provides the insurance community with a one-stop shop to understand how their business has been affected and inform their decision-making in the immediate aftermath of any catastrophic event in North America.

In the last year alone, MIS have released comprehensive intelligence reports on 25 CAT events in North America and monitored a further 42 more, covering multiple perils including Hurricane Helene, Hurricane Milton, the May 2025 tornado outbreak and the Los Angeles wildfires.

Within the same timeframe, Eagleview has taken 34,000 sq.km worth of aerial imagery across North America, with 60 individual flights capturing the effects of 26 unique CAT events, representing an equally wide range of perils such as hurricanes, tornadoes, wildfires and more.

David Bairstow, SVP & General Manager of Eagleview: “We’re truly thrilled to be working with MIS. Bringing these leading market offerings together will deliver major benefits for our users. This move signals a major evolution in how both organisations serve the insurance marketplace, with the shared goal of continuing to give carriers the information they need, when they need most it, as the impact North American catastrophes worsen year-on-year.”

Eagleview imagery is now available to all GEO users and the GEO platform can be accessed by Eagleview clients at any time.

Using its proprietary Saas, geospatial platform, the Global Events Observer (GEO), MIS systematically tracks and responds to catastrophes. GEO has the ability to host a vastly broad dataset, including satellite and drone imagery, radar, mobile phone, ground, and sensor data. This raw data, it is vetted by trained and experienced former military intelligence analysts to ensure accuracy and then translated into something actionable, which means when clients receive the intelligence, they can rely upon it immediately rather than having to undertake additional work.
