MIS was pleased to welcome Professor Ralf Toumi from Imperial College London as the keynote speaker of this year’s Storm Season event, hosted on the 16th of August in the Lloyd’s Old Library. In light of the impending storm season, we wanted to take a deeper dive into the reasoning behind the changing trends of hurricanes in the United States.
Toumi, who is also Co-Founder of the Grantham Institute, shares his findings into the why hurricanes, as well as other natural disasters, are appearing to be more frequent and more severe.
